Public Consultation 10th September

Since our last public meeting, our campaign team have been working hard on three aspects of improving our rail service:

  • Looking at the new timetable proposals and how we can feed in to this

  • Fighting to get London Victoria trains to stop at Crofton Park again to give us a much needed connection to Central and West London

  • Working with TfL to discuss longer term plans about them taking over our service

We have another public meeting planned for Satuday 10th September from 2-3pm at the Rivoli Ballroom, Crofton Park.

This meeting will be your chance to hear about the new timetable proposals in more detail, how this will affect Crofton Park, and what we need to do to ensure we get more trains per hour serving the station and surrounding stations on the Catford Loop.

Management from Thameslink and Network Rail will also be there to answer your questions about the service as well as give an update on the new trains that are coming on to our route as well as planned improvments to our part of the route.

We hope as many of you as possible can make the next meeting as its vital that we show Thameslink and Network Rail how much demand there is for a reliable frequent service for Crofton Park and the Catford Loop.
